June was an absolutely insane month of travel for me. I was actually away from home more than I was here for June.
It started with a trip to Glastonbury CT to see my honorary nephew graduate high school and do his graduation and senior pictures.
I was home for about a week after that and had several lens projects to work on for articles or presentations to do. Pete Pete helped me out a bit too.
Then I was off again to Philadephia to teach classes at the Unique Photo store and Flower Show. I found a great hat I loved and wore it the whole weekend. My Sigma pal Marc did some posing for me while we were scouting locations.
I love love love macro photos!
I went directly from Philly to NYC, where I was teaching a macro presentation for B&H. But first, I got to be touristy! I enjoyed my time at the observation deck!
I walked across the Manhattan bridge, went to Union Station, and rode my first ever subway.
Also walked most of central park and saw the National History Museum.
I was home for like two days, my garden was both happy and very sad in some places.
Then I was off to ClickCon in Chicago to teach a macro class there too! So fun!! Plus I had dinner at the BEST EVER steakhouse in Chicago with a load of new friends and fine people.
