Fairyography was initially just for little girls but has now grown to celebrate ladies of all ages. Getting to play dress-up as an adult is much less frequent but no less fun than it was when we were little! We will style you with items from our vast Client Closet, and you’ll get to play dress-up with our exquisite, curated selection of fairy dresses & wings. These sessions allow you to lean into your magic and feel truly beautiful for an afternoon.
Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 are still young enough to feel magical but old enough to remember what a magical experience a fairy photo session is. A princess or fairy picture session makes your child feel beautiful, which is essential for her self-esteem. At the ages where girls begin to feel like they're awkward or ugly, a picture on the wall that shows their beauty every day can do wonders. Not to mention, it's totally fun to dress up!
Every teen girl can feel beautiful with a glamorous photo session, with or without the wings. Self-esteem in my teenage years was definitely the lowest point in my own life. I want to make sure every girl has a photo to look at where she feels absolutely beautiful and confident.

Unique kids portraits are stress-free, fun, and easy.
I have a studio client closet so I provide all the dresses, wings and crowns for these fantasy photo sessions. When I'm posing your kids they'll look candid, never stiff. (I do that by making a fool of myself behind the camera!)
As a former pre-school teacher, I know all about how to manage over-exuberant kids or bring a shy child out of their bubble. I have years of experience and lots of stupid games to play to get even siblings who don't like each other or are over being touched to pose together for photos. No matter how the photo session looks like it's going, you will get perfect photos. You want the magic, but you really want confidence for your child. You love seeing them light up when they become something extraordinary, and you want photos where they look completely themselves at the same time. You want to give them an experience and a story they’ll talk about for years.
My style is colorful and bold. Vibrant photos are important to show off the real character of your children. The true smiles and real expressions captured in your images will make your child's personality truly shine.
The Fairography Experience
1. Pre-session Prep
You look at her and it hits you... how much longer will she play with those dolls? When will she stop pretending? She’s getting so tall now, and it’s so fast! Capture these moments before they’re gone forever. She’s only this little... once upon a time.
You and I will chat about what you have in mind for the session, this is what you love most about your daughter and what you'd like to remember in her photos. Don't worry if you don't have any ideas about what you'd like her shoot to look like, I have plenty for both of us! Her experience is half of an amazing photo session, let's make it something she'll remember and talk about for years!
Once you book, you'll get email or text reminders about each appointment and weather updates leading up to the shoot day. I will then begin crafting any of the props we'll be using for the photo session so that I have everything we need for photo day!
2. Photo Session Day
I know, you're worried. You're thinking "But my girl is wild and I know she won't sit still for photos!" or maybe you're thinking "Oh my gosh, I know my girl is amazing but she's so shy she takes a while to warm up... will we have time?"
Yes, I promise, I know.
Fairy sessions are SO FUN and I’m often told at the end of the session that the giggling kid that I was just with for an hour on a stroll through the forest is usually super shy. Not with me! I went to school for Early Childhood Education so that I could work in preschool. I am crazy silly and super patient.
I ENJOY being with your daughters, Plus I know what’s appropriate for her age and how to run a session. I speak TO her like a person, and not at her. I read her and I know when she’s done for the day. There are no crying princesses at my photo appointments. You'll come and leave with a happy, thrilled little girl who will talk about how she was a fairy for weeks and months afterwards.
