I teach classes for other photographers, and a lot of those classes are hands-on demonstrations in which I talk about exactly how I run a photo session. Obviously, I need models in front of the camera, so for the classes I teach I have to go find a child or family or a dancer for pictures. This class in Cleveland was for pixel photo fest and I was teaching about how to pose and take pictures of kids while still making sure they have fun and I get authentic, good expressions in the pictures. So this family is a blended family with seven children under 13 years old. I really thought it was going to be head swap city, but all of the kids enjoyed my fart jokes enough that I didn’t lose attention! My past as a preschool teacher came into play while I was trying to remember their names and not call them the wrong name. I only called the youngest the wrong name twice, and got everybody else the whole time!
