Molly’s mommy says “I wanted to nominate my daughter, Molly, for a possible fairy photography session. Molly is a 3 year old triplet. She has a 6 year old brother and identical twin brothers (part of the triplet grouping). So she is surrounded by boys all the time! Molly has a rare, severe cardiac condition called Pulmonary Vein Stenosis. Molly’s particular kind is called Congenital Pulmonary Vein Stenosis meaning she was born with it. It has an 80% mortality rate. She had open heart surgery at 3 months old and over 10 heart catheterizations. There is no cure for this condition. Often times it leads to a double lung transplant. In addition, Molly has a duplication of a portion of her Chromosome 2. This leads to further delays in physicality as well as speech. She is a sweet, little girl that lights up a room with her smile. She is not walking but can sit herself up — which is a huge milestone! She is also non-verbal. She is also on oxygen 24/7. I would so love to be able to provide her with this photography session. Being surrounded by boys all the time and although she LOVES being around her brothers — it would be fun for her to have something girly done. I would love for her to be able to participate in something so sweet as this. Thanks for listening our story! It is such a wonderful idea that you have come up with and I am certain must make some little girls super happy!”
Heather says: I met Molly and immediately saw what her mother was talking about. Molly really DOES light up a room when she smiles, and I was doing everything I could to get that. Seriously, mom and grandma and I were ALL jumping up and down to get her laughing. It was pretty awesome, but we could just simply not compare to ‘Hey Dugee’ on the phone.
