When you scroll through the galleries at Heather Larkin Photo, you’ll see a clear thread running through everything I create: color and honesty. Those two things aren’t just how I describe my photos—they’re the foundation of how I work and what I want every session to reflect.

Colorful
I’ve always been drawn to bold, rich color. Life isn’t flat or gray, and I don’t think your photos should be either. Whether it’s the bright tones of a Fairyography dress, the playful colors of a family session at the park, or the warm glow of a sunset over an Athens field, I use color to help bring out the energy and feeling of a moment. I don’t follow the trend of washed-out, pale edits. I choose a vibrant, true-to-life look that feels joyful and alive.
Authentic
Just as important as color is honesty. I want your photos to feel like you. Not stiff. Not overly posed. Real expressions, real emotion, and natural connection. I focus on creating an easygoing environment where you can relax, be yourself, and have fun. Especially with kids. I’ve worked with them for over 25 years, and I know how to meet them where they are, get them laughing, and help them feel comfortable.
That’s really the heart of my approach: bright, true colors paired with natural, genuine moments. From the first planning conversation to the editing process, everything I do is about making sure your photos reflect you. Your personality, your relationships, and your story.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to work with you.
