Elli’s nomintaor writes: She has atonic seizure disorder. She also has a learning disability and low muscle tone. She had to have braces on her ankles because they turned inward. She’s in therapy too. She had a stoke in utero…… part of her brain is smaller than the rest. She has a horse shoe kidney and her spine has scoliosis. She’s six today but her body acts like it’s a 4 year old.
Heather’s thoughts: Ellie talks slowly and walks even slower, but her brain is quick quick! She is fast to pick up on something and talk about it, quick to crack jokes (she just says them in an unhurried manner), and speedy on her quips to her sister. The things she says are pretty dang funny too!
