Her Nominator writes: “I would like to nominate my 4 year old niece Audrey for the fairy tale package. She has ARPKD. (Autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease) She was diagnosed when she was 9 moths old. Every case of ARPKD is unique. It’s difficult to predict what Audrey’s future will be like. She is fighting the biggest fight of her life and she doesn’t even know it yet. She takes all her medications like a champ! I want her to experience everything she sets her mind to and heart on. I can’t wait to see what the world has in store for her. I want her to know that anything is possible if you just believe. She has the most amazing Imagination! she could tell you a story for hours! I want her to always have that kind of imagination. To always be curious, always learning.This would be such an amazing opportunity for her. Audrey loves princess’s, fairy’s, tutu’s, fairy wings and all that sort of stuff. I would love for her to have this experience. She would have a ball! Careful though she might want you dress up too 🙂 She’s dressed me up in every hair bow and ribbon she has. “
Heather says: This girl was UTTERLY SILENT when I first met her. Her mommy said it takes her a while to warm up to new people. She certainly warmed up fast after we got started, telling me all about animals and how camouflage works. She’d fabulous!
